The situation
A cross-border e-commerce seller faced product listing restrictions and removals on a major marketplace following an intellectual property dispute. The disruption affected normal store operations and sales continuity. While the underlying dispute had been resolved through settlement, the affected listings remained restricted and the seller needed a clear, policy-compliant path back to normal operations.
What we did
1. Settlement summary — We prepared a platform-facing summary of the resolution and the seller's commitments, including cessation of any potentially infringing product/image/content activity, supported by appropriate documentation.
2. Listing and content remediation — We conducted a systematic review and update of all affected listing assets: product detail page copy, A+ Content, marketing materials, and associated images. We compiled reviewer-friendly screenshots to enable quick verification.
3. Performance evidence — We organized key proof related to the resolution (payment acknowledgement, confirmation materials) into a coherent attachment set suitable for platform review.
4. Clear restoration request — We drafted and submitted a concise request asking the platform to restore affected listings and confirm removal of account-level restrictions.
5. Ongoing compliance commitment — We documented compliance commitments and internal controls to reduce recurrence risk and improve account stability.
The result
- Platform restored all affected listings to live, operational status
- Structured "evidence package + clear narrative" approach reduced back-and-forth and improved review efficiency
- Seller established a durable compliance baseline for listing copy, A+ content, and creative assets — reducing likelihood of similar issues recurring
Results depend on the specific facts of each matter; past outcomes do not guarantee similar results.
