Motion to Dissolve a TRO
A Motion to Dissolve asks the court to cancel the TRO. Grounds for dissolution include:
- The court lacks personal jurisdiction over the defendant
- The plaintiff failed to show irreparable harm
- The plaintiff's evidence is insufficient
- The defendant's products are genuine (first sale doctrine)
If granted, all frozen funds are released and the case may be dismissed entirely.
